“Since I liked the look of the GT (but didn’t like the price or the cost of insurance), I instead chose a base V6 coupe in solid black, and proceeded to make it look as much like a GT as I could, without overdoing it.”

“I added the large pony emblems to the sides to add a dash to the otherwise plain sides of the V6. I also chose to replace the stock 16″ wheels/tires with wider tires and 18″ alloy rims from a GT, which ultimately gives a much lower, more agressive appearance to the car as well as more of a retro flavor.”
“The windows are tinted darker than factory, which contrasts beautifully with the high-gloss black paint. To give the rear more of a retro look, I added stainless steel tail light bezels. I am still considering louvers for the side trapezoid windows, but since the windows are already tinted nearly black it hasn’t been a priority. I may also eventually change the exhaust to duals, to look even more like the GT.”
“At this point I’m pretty satisfied with the look I’ve achieved thus far, and thrilled with the neck-breaking looks I get wherever I go.”
