This set of 2 Front Black 1996 Corvette Grand Sport Heavy Duty brake calipers is the real deal!

These are factory original Grand Sport Brake Calipers, still in the AC Delco boxes. They come complete with factory installation instructions and a pin with a c-clip. They will bolt right up to your 1988-1996 C4 Corvette with 13" brakes and can be used to convert the 88-96 with 12" brakes (some additional parts would be required to convert from 12" to 13").

The Grand Sport Calipers are stronger version of the J55 heavy duty calipers (made for 13" rotors). These calipers are factory black gloss coated with the prominent "CORVETTE" lettering that is visible through an open spoked rim.

Chevrolet released the Grand Sport (GS) version in 1996 to mark the end of production of the C4 Corvette. The Grand Sport moniker is a nod to the original Grand Sport model produced in 1963. A total of 1,000 GS Corvettes were produced, 810 as coupes and 190 as convertibles. The Grand Sport came only in Admiral Blue with a white stripe down the middle, with black wheels and matching black heavy duty brake calipers and red stripes on the front left wheel arch to add to its distinctive look.
